Spring

Golfing at the nearby Talking Rock Golf Course, hiking and biking trails are also open for exploration by mid April.
Summer
The Shuswap Lake is synonymous with endless summer fun.
The 20 local lakes and streams are ideal for fishing, and whether you're power boating, sailing, jet skiing or exploring the shoreline in your kayak, the private boat moorage and boat launch at West Beach Village makes for easy access.
Hot, dry weather also makes for perfect lazy days on the beach, lawn chair or watching the lake view from your piece of paradise.
Fall
Hot summer days lead to warm, colourful days in the Fall, perfect for a quiet family get a way. As the leaves change to magnificent red, yellows and orange, the world-famous Adams River Sockeye Salmon return to their birthplace to complete the circle of life.
This brilliant display of nature could not be easier to access from West Beach Village which neighbors Roderik-Haig Brown Provincial Park.
Winter
In the wintertime, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy.
Hit the slopes at one of the many first class Okanagan resorts, just over an hour's drive away or try sledding, snowshoeing or cross country skiing at the many local mountains.
Dust off the snowmobiles and explore the surrounding mountains - this region is known for having some of the best snowmobiling terrain around. And when the day is done, cozy up with a hot cocoa inside your warm private retreat.
